How the QShot system works
The system allows the occlusion glasses to turn from an obstructed view to transparent view during the final moments (300-500 ms) of shooting while maintaining luminescence and reducing visual confusion. The system is appropriate for all shot techniques and skill levels and offer athletes and coaches two modes to improve their field goal percentage: jump sensor mode and coaching training mode
Jump shot improvement
IST and the University of Amsterdam developed the QShot system to improve shooting speed, accuracy, and perceptional focus to transform their game. QShot allows players to train under pressure and in game-like situations while concentrating on their shooting technique. Through the increased visual control training players can expect av. 10% improvement in shooting percentage.
Jump-sensor mode
With Jump-Sensor Mode, QShot glasses close automatically as you begin your jump and reopen the instant you land. A precision floor sensor detects your movement and triggers the lenses to become transparent at the exact release moment. Fine-tune the adjustable delay to match your shooting rhythm — perfect for solo practice sessions without a coach.
Coach training mode
Train your vision. Train Perfect your timing. The coach uses a remote control to close and open the glasses. This allows super flexible control over the glasses. Whether to let a new player get used to the glasses or to push an experienced player to his limits: it’s all possible.
Scientifically proof
QShot is scientifically proven to improve shoo-ting percentage. The Dutch national team tested QShot with outstanding results. Players received 15-20 minute training sessions per week and experienced an average 8-10% shooting percen-tage improvement compared to the control groups.
